It's Recipe Redux time! This month's theme is a healthy holiday dessert to share with friends and family. Frequently I enjoy coffee with my dessert or as an alternative to dessert. This spiced coffee recipe is a healthy, homemade alternative to expensive spiced lattes from coffee shops. I like mine with just a little cream and let the spices sweeten it up. It's a festive way to lighten up dessert this holiday season.
Spiced Coffee Recipe
makes 1 cup of ground coffee
- 1 cup coffee grounds
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp cardamom
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp ginger
Combine all ingredients and mix well. Use grounds per your coffee makers recommendation.
I use about 2 1/2 Tbsp in my reusable filter for my Keurig's 8 ounce cup setting.
